So I had an extra, cheap-o frame from the Dollar Tree and decided I wanted to use it for something in my new office, but didn’t want to put a bunch of holes in our freshly painted walls πŸ™‚

I decided to turn the frame into a little tray that now is the perfect place to hold a few Dollar Tree pillar candles πŸ™‚

It’s the easiest thing ever! All you need is a frame, some spray paint, some fabric you like, and some candles πŸ™‚

I spray painted my frame with Rust-oleum Heirloom White. It was a silver, plastic frame and the paint didn’t go on the smoothest….but I like how it turned out anyway, with some of the silver showing through.

Then I covered the frame’s cardboard backing with a piece of burlap–just hot-glued her right on.

Stuck the burlap back into the frame and topped her with a few $1 candles. Just to add a little color, I found some old ribbon, and glued it around 2 of the candles.

The whole thing took about 5 minutes (plus letting the paint dry), and cost only $4 for the frame and 3 candles from Dollar Tree (I already had the burlap, paint, and ribbon) πŸ™‚
