dust everywhere

February 19, 2010

Well we found out I do in fact have prenatal diabetes. Along with that diagnosis is the possibility that the baby could come a tad early…

if by tad you mean in THREE WEEKS!

I now have ultrasounds and doctors appointments every week to make sure that the baby isn’t getting too big–if it starts to get too big, and doesn’t come on its own, the doctor might want to induce me—as much as 3 weeks early–like in 2 or 3 weeks!!!!

Soooo, since the baby has decided to possibly speed up our timeline a little (honestly what’s so bad about staying in there for the rest of its sentance? It’s only 6 more weeks!!), this means our project list has been kicked in to overdrive.

Yesterday when I left the house, my upstairs was in tact. When I got home 3 hours later, there was a 2 inch coating of dust on everything, power tools and extension cords all over and the dog looked high. She kept leaning towards the right and licking her lips like she wanted more crack. Hop over to my “Adventures in Demolition and Decorating” Page to catch a glimpse of what happens when you’re very very pregnant and decide that remodeling is a good idea.

By the way, demo, dust, spray paint, nail guns, and ladders are all acceptable activities/objects for people who are almost 8 months pregnant right???

OK good.
